Hey I received my viper 5901 alarm system today. I was wondering this alarm already has a built in shock sensor? Should I get more sensors like tilt sensor or audio glass break sensor? Wouldn't it be kind of useless to get them since shock sensor would detect if someone would like break a window or if car gets raised?

 

more you have more protection you will have. but nothing more annoying than over - sensitive cars.

 

You should be ok with the shock sensor thats included, you can always change the sensitivity of the alarm.

 

Shock should be fine.

i have the same alarm and i ran into a proble. it being that at night i have my lights on auto and the lights stay on after i get out and turn the car off...the guy that installed it set it up for me to have the car in 'N' and E brake on then when i take my foot of the brake pedal i hit the remote start button and it keeps the car on. i hit the lock button the car goes off but head lights stay on... it made my battery die :-(
