Battery help!!

So i just got a used 05 G35 coupe a month ago....and i already ran into my first problem...the car came with auto start so when i tried to use it one day..it just slipped..it kept making the click noise...im guessing thats the starter plug or something? im not sure i dont know that much about cars..anyway...so i tried to start it with a key..did not work...so i jumped the car and the car started perfectly..if i turn it off and turn it back on in an hour or so..it works but it won't start if i staart the car the next day....so i think its the battery..but i dont want to get an entire electrical test and stuff since that costs a lot....what do you guys think? ha this might be a simple problem but im not that good with cars so yea..help is appreciated

yea sounds like the battery. i had the same problem last week. just fast clicking the noises. the heat in vegas just destroy'd my battery i'm guessing. but anyways i ended up getting a costco kirkland signature for 60 bucks. if you have a sound system might wanna go with optima red top or yellow top depending if its a daily driver or not.
