Just do the diff change yourself. It doesn't even require you to jack up the car (stock height) go get 2 qts of your choice of oil 75-90 and a pump device to push the oil into the diff. When diff starts to over fill then its full. Done.
Mobil1 and others are good enough I just didnt know what most of you guys are running? Should I go w/ a synthetic? These cars don't have limited slip diffs right?

I use 75/90 mobil 1 synt. in my diff, when I had my coupe. Changed it out at 60k and car felt smooth.
same oil can be used in the Tranny as well.


6mt is sport; which has VLSD.

Thanks you have been really helpful. So does the "V" in "VLSD" stand for variable? Sorry I'm new to G35's.

This is good info. I need to change my diff fluid as well. What type of oil (75-90) is best?

there are many brand names you can choose from.. but really they all will work for street use.

mobil1
royal purple
motul
etc..
be sure its a sythn.
