More rubber = more traction. I just ordered a set of 255's for the rear, does that make sense??? OP, if your wheel is only 8" wide then go with 245's. Just throw a sticky set of tires on. agree!

I agree, I just got 245/35/R19 fronts and 255/40/R19 rears installed and I think this is pretty the widest tire setup you can go w/ 19" OEM wheels.
