If you're talking about Xet's car, his lip is painted.

thanks it is painted the same color as my headlights and grill. but it was only put on to be a temporary mod until I could get a new bumper and now that I have my new nismo bumper it should be coming off within the next couple of months.

That'd be the lip I'd go for (OEM), but I didn't notice until now that the ends of the lip extend up a bit. I thought it would be entirely flat.

OTOH I've also been considering a Nismo front bumper with the debadged Gialla grille (still OB, to matched with the lower vents) or a Remix with LR Gialla. There are wayyyy to many options available for our cars, whereas my old Lexus had like, 2 choices.

Yes, double sided tape. It'll look okay if done on the right bumper, certainly not OEM.

Illusion/Data lip? correct me if I'm wrong.

And Question, is it personal preference to not have the tow hook cover? Or did it just got jacked? I don't see the + for looks with it off.

If anything, it's like the Home Depot garage door lip that so many people on here do (quite commonly done on Nismo bumpers), which does actually look decent in matte black because it's small and subtle. An OEM lip, or any other lip for that matter, should be color matched. Unpainted or even gloss black just looks out of place and unfinished.

sxexcx's car: gloss black grille matches/ties in with the gloss black accents on the Nismo bumper. Matte black Home Depot garage door lip is nice, small, and subtle.

what kind of lip is this and grill too?!?!?!
sweet *** car man!
