Question power windows behavior

Hi,

I'm not sure if it's me or it supposed to be like that,...

I got my G35 coupe not long time ago and want to check something.

My passenger window doesn't stop in the ''middle of it's way'', I can only either way have it fully open or closed....tried numerous times to stop it in the middle I can't..all it does it that it reverser it's route...up vs down and the opposite..

My driver side isn't like that I can easily stop in whichever point I want....

If that's a wrong behavior is there a way of resetting it or I have to go to the dealer ???

Thx in advance for help

Have you done any troubleshooting?

Here's where I'd start...

Check the passenger side door window switch (the one physically mounted on the passenger side door panel...not the driver's side control). See if you can partially roll down that window with that switch. If you can, you should have a pretty good idea you have a bad switch on the driver's side. If you can't, the problem is a bit more involved.

Always start with the simplest potential failure point in a system and work your way up in complexity from there.

Best wishes.

Does the passenger window still automatically move up a bit when you close the door?

I checked both switches and both do the same...passenger window refuse to stop anywhere in the middle.....

and yes the window is moving (lowering or going up) when I open/close the door..
