ok, now since i got that off my chest. today, i went to go leave for work, and i turned over the G, and it ran like ****, dropped to 500rpms, the SLIP VDC AND ENGINE CHECK light were all on, it wouldnt accelerate at all. So i shut it off, cried for 5 minutes, then got back in it and started it again. it started fine, now all thats on is the check engine light.

ive seen someone post something similar to this before, i went back 20+ pages and couldnt find shiznit.

Had this happen to me once. It was camshaft position sensor malfunction. But from what I understand that is a 'standard' response when there is something wrong with the car, so it may be a variety of other things as well.

Let us know how it goes, good luck.

Clear the code by resetting the ecu.

I had this happen to me also. It was my throttle body and they replaced it under warranty.

pull the code.

Cam position sensors are not that much (if that is the problem). And easy to change out.

I wouldnt worry about it. It sounds like a transitory condition. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 3 minutes, then reconnect it and all should be well with no light.

if u reset your ecu and it happens again that means your throttle body sensor went out
