I use to have z springs and was BARELY in spec as far as camber. That's only a 1/2 drop in front.

I have Espelir GT springs which advertise a .6 drop and it def needs a kit to correct camber.

I have had H-tech's on my car for about 2 years now. It's a subtle drop (maybe ~0.6 inches), but today was the first day I've had to change my tires (front and rear) due to the wearing on the inner part of the tire. The tires cost me a lot and would have rather bought a camber kit.

two years is a good amount of time. not sure how long u u expected to go witout changing tires. iirc camber will always be there. the kit is jus there to minimize it.

nah coilovers are a waste unless youre gonna track the car. thats like buying a twin turbo kit just to drive around inner city. no need for that. simple springs will work fine

Theres some truth to that. But if you do plan on keeping the car, remember that oem shocks arent meant to handle the spring rates of aftermarket springs. So figure you'll have to replace those in a few years or so. After paying for the springs+new shocks+install, you're at the price of coils. Keep in mind coils are able to be rebuilt and that can be adjusted, where as springs/shocks cannot. So theres 2 sides to the coin.

Springs are for those of us that just want to reduce the gap over the top of our tires. I couldn't go any lower than I am now due to my KurumaZ bumper. I've got Tein 350Z H-Techs and the ride is great, very close to OE. I went thru my worn front B-Stones in a 2 months without the camber kit which I installed prior to buying new tires. Fact is the camber/toe kit is needed if you lower your G any amount because there's very little adjust ability in our suspensions. Install the springs, have your G aligned and ask the alignment tech how far off OE specs your suspension is and how long will your tires last before you hear the frontend ROOOOooarr? Your choice....
