modded GT-R exhaust is, "ehh." you could get pretty much the same thing made at a muffler shop for a lot less.

First, get the specs of the GTR exhaust. Get better pics of the entire exhaust and look at the welds. Also, ask about the gaskets and hardware.

I would say HKS since its made for the G35, but the GTR is a cool idea.

if you want an exhaust for performance I wouldnt lean towards the HKS, dont get me wrong they sound great but they dont make any power. I'd get the GT-R exhaust plus its unique! Good luck on your decision

^ Thats what ive read and heard from a lot of old post.

But there was also a thread about HKS exhaust gains and there was a graph showing around 10 hp and like 8 tq gain? I cant really recall..

^ Yeah that was the first exhaust I had was the HKS, then I moved to the Nismo in which I actually gained around 10hp. Now I'm waiting for my new Greddy Ti-C to come in, Z1 said that I should even get more gains from that one!!!

I heard that the most performance-oriented exhaust would be Motordyne. So does someone have the actual dyno numbers for the HKS exhaust? Still trying to figure out what exhaust to get...
