New owner/first issue

Morning All!

I purchased a 2004 Coupe on Friday evening and begin having a driver side window issue yesterday. Today I got into the car and the window will not function at all. I do however hear a clicking like the motor is trying to engage. Help!

You can take it back to them AS LONG AS IT'S FREE OF CHARGE and make that clear. Otherwise, it's a fairly easy fix. I have had so many issues with my windows that it's second nature to me now. If you need to DIY, take off the door panel (search if you must) and make sure everything is aligned. What most likely happened is your motor popped off, which you'll either need a new one or you can use epoxy to glue it back on. That was usually my issue. Congrats on the car, but welcome to a series of insignificant problems like this. I say DIY cause you'll need to learn sooner or later.

It was bought from a private owner who swears he has never had an issue with the window. I figured that would be his response so I suppose I will get in and see if the motor has indeed popped off. Despite the issue...I LOVE this car.
