after 30k miles dealer is replacing tranny under warranty...time to upgrade clutch

what clucth/flywheel combo has been recommended by infiniti drivers?
ive herd good things about ACT, and F1 but also negative about them both.

i have an 06' 6spd, and figure that since the dealer is pulling the tranny, they offered to install a new clutch for free if i want, i might as well upgrade

i dont know what kind to get

after more research, a flywheel is way outta the price range. is it wise to upgrade the clutch with keeping the stock flywheel?

I have the ACT clutch/flywheel combo and I honestly am not a huge fan. It is too stiff and the engagement is very abrupt for my taste. It is also rather noisy. I am not doing any racing and don't have much more power than stock so I'm thinking about getting the exedy oem clutch.

i took the G into get the 30k maintance work done, and had them inspect my clutch pedal...it makes a popping noise when i release the pedal...anyways, long story, the called me about 2 hrs after i dropped it off to say that there is an issue with the tranny, and since its under warranty its easier for them to just replace than to troubleshoot.

so they also reccommend that if i want i can upgrade the clutch and they will throw that on while they are at it

i got a new tranny under warranty at about 40k miles..i had the clutch slave cylinder issue before infiniti had the TSB and they replaced 3 clutch pedals and the tranny.. they ended up finding out that it was the slave cylinder haha.. but.. they told me that they were replacing the clutch as well with a new oem one.. it turned out that they didn't and they put the old one back in.. i was pissed that they lied to me and if they weren't goin to put in a new clutch they should have given me the option to buy a new oem or aftermarket one to replace...

anyhow. i ended up getting a new motor in january under warranty for the OC TSB at 67k mi and while the motor was out, the new dealer i took it to( Riverside Infiniti) asked me if i wanted to change out my clutch since the motor was being replaced. they charged me $100.... I bought a JWT clutch/flywheel combo and it is great. grabs well..
