intake mani questions!!!!

i know that i can serch this stuff, and believe me i have, but i want some straight answers after i've done my searching. I wanted to do a complete intake mod this winter and i am trying to do some research 1st. I want to do the motordyne mrev 2 lower plenum, and the 5/16 iso thermal copper spacer. I have seen some places that will chrome out the stock upper plenum, although it looks nice. I was looking for something more on the performance side. Does anyone know what and where i can get something. I've looked at cosworth and kintex, but seems like they only get good results with FI. Also I believe that they do not go with the motordyne set up im looking for. I found crawfordz polished plenums, which seem like best bet, but i havent heard any reviews about them. I am also going to get an osiris tune with all of this. Plus i only have a z-tube installed, i like my jwt filter, any ideas on something more stylish and performance. Any in put or answers would be much appreciated.

The spacer and MREV2 will suffice, no need for an aftermarket plenum. Get some HFC's or test pipes, and if you keep the stock air box modify it so its a TRUE ram air setup. The Osiris tune is a must and should yield a decent gain with everything else.

I can offer you the best of both worlds. For the best performance and looks, I can offer you a polished OEM upper plenum with matching polished MREV2 and 5/16" Motordyne spacer. PM me if you are interested in ordering. If you search my screen name or read through my itrader feedback, you will see that I am THE authority on this subject!

....^....That's right, Sean is the "Go to Guy" for polished plenums and more. He might even polish the inside of the plenum if you'd request it, gotta be worth another 2 HP....

The whole point of having the modified lower plenum (MREV2) and spacer is for better airflow, same as the upper plenum replacements as well as the plenum replacements. There isn't a need to get an MREV2 w/ spacer and an upper plenum replacement like the Crawford plenum. Technically, you won't even need a spacer with the Crawford plenum. If anything, it might be worse unless you're boosting.

If you have a Revup motor, you'll be more than happy with the results of the MREV2 and spacer!
