+1, I agree with OGKushRob. Do what you think fits your style.

I rebadged my G to Skyline without the Nissan emblem. Some people thinks thats looks rice but F**K them. These are usually the same people who pay for an oil change because thier mechanically challenged.

very close poll, I want to debadge everything but when I took off the Infiniti and the G35 I had a nice shadow imprint on the trunk. I am no buffing expert or anything and don't know where to start to make this look good. Anyone have any ideas on how to do it and what stuff do I need to buy to accomplish this?

I know what you mean with the shadow... when i did mine last year, it was like that too, but over time it adapts in sunlight and dirt and everything mixes in and then it's gone after some weeks. I debadged the mt. fuji on like saturday and you can still see the mark but it has become less and less visible during this week. too bad there are a few areas up close that need a touch up

What products can I use to buff/polish the shadows away? I have read the threads before on them, most are old posts. Any new compounds or what have you found that works the best?

you want to use the goo gone and get all the residue off then scrub.. then wax it a 3-4 times and for me it went away in the course of like 3 weeks.

I haven't waxed it but all the glue has been gone. I just have the shadows that are annoying from about 10' away

i took the g35 and infiniti off but left the mt fuji. got the car 2 weeks ago and after i got the insurance pics taken was the first thing i did. i think ill take that fuji off after a badgeless front grill so it matches i did the same with my last car too it always bugged me that the emblem was sunk in on my tC so i never fully debadged it. what adhesive do they use if i do decide to ever put it back on?
