Door Trim Removal

Door Trim Removal
I was thinking about removing my door trim that came on my 2003 G35 Coupe and was wondering if there are any DIY's or if someone has experience with this??
I searched and found mixed answers some said that it is removed with a heat gun just like de-badging and some said that it is screwed on along with the adhesive...but I also read that the screws are only on the sedan models?
So basically I just want to know if someone has done this on their coupe and not had holes underneath it...
Thanks for any help!

EDIT: Added pictures of the finished product below

I don't want to do this and end up having holes on the side, or marks from the trim piece with, or two different shades of paint...

Would really like to do this project this weekend...if anyone knows for a fact that I will have no holes when removed please let me know...or do you think that the shades of paint will be noticeably different?
Aslo if I remove the trim and there are holes, don't like it, or paint is different...will I be able to reapply the trim piece??
Thanks

SEARCH under subject DEBADGING the side trim is much the same. You'll need the following, and don't use anything else like some members recommend....fishing line....GooGone....ScratchX to remove any scratches caused by removing the adhesive. Last step should be to wax the area with quality wax. It's possible you'll need to buff out any shadows left when you're finished but it will disappear. You're gonna like the way your coupe looks I guarantee it....

Finally just decided to jump on it and did this project this weekend...Did exactly like the debage DIYs said, this was very easy and I am very pleased with the results. Thanks Gary C for the helpful reply...
Here are some new pictures below:
Oh and I also got clear corners in today which look great also. And I used the GooGone on other areas of my car to remove little pieces of tar that were bothering me and it works like a charm...
