Please help me repair my G :(

I got into an accident last night. A guy cut off the person in front of me and came to a complete stop in the middle of traffic, i slammed on brakes (which locked up) and went sliding into the car in front of me. Airbag is deployed, and front end damage is pretty rough. Here's a pic:

Fortunately, it is fully repairable! Here is what I am wondering: since I will be replacing both the front bumper, grill, and hood, where would be my best bet on sourcing the items, and how much should i expect to pay? Also, for the modders: do you think I should spend a couple extra bucks on aftermarket parts? If so, what do you suggest?

Thanks for everybody's help, I can't wait to get my babe back on the road

Hit up strafe or another vendor here on driver for a new aftermarket front bumper and hood. Then pickup the cf fenders from the guy that's selling them in the marketplace for $200 and go get her painted. Replace those front tires too....

....^....not yet but it's likely! I don't know why you don't just have your insurance company take care of your accident? Even if you buy used parts and have them painted/installed it's sure to cost you more than your deductable. And, there's probably more damage than the pic shows once you get everything off....your choice. It wasn't your fault your previous vehicle was stolen, likely your insurance won't be dropped. Sorry bout your accident!

Ah yes, car insurance the biggest scam in the nation. Best of luck with your repairs.

Thanks man. I'll call them tomorrow for a chat.

Anybody have an idea of how much OEM parts cost vs. Strafe? I like their hoods a lot

You can pick up second hand OEM parts (front bumper, hood, etc.) on here for dirt cheap. People practically give them away. Only problem is you have to wait for something to pop up, and then deal with shipping, then paint, etc.

Ummm plus the fact that you hit someone from behind.

So they might charge you for the accident. Also if the person you hit is injured you could be taken for everything. Let insurance handle it.
