The Stillen CAI is a good addition, the Kinetix plenum isn't the best choice but it would help if you'd detail that dirty engine bay....

What would be a good replacement? I have the Stock plenum (i think?) It would go where the kinetic would go.

Put the stock plenum back on with a Motordyne 5/16" spacer. The cover will fit over this spacer.

The previous owner took it off to show off the Kinetix plenum, I don't think the OE engine cover will fit. You could pick up a CF 350Z cover that's about half the size of the OE, that might work.

Isn't that just an upper plenum? Wouldn't the spacer work with the Kinetix still on there?
Op, you don't need an engine cover unless you really want one.

I was just reading something about it on a 350z forum and they said that you could have both too.

The Kinetix is probably taller than OEM, like the APS Tallboy.

Were they talking about Z's or G's? Z's have a "half" engine cover that does not cover the plenum, which is why a Z cover will work.

If your still under warranty then I would put the stock plenum back on in case you have to go to a stealership.

If not, then I'd say just keep that plenum and add a spacer.

I would not add a spacer on top of the Kinetix plenum mod. More is not always better. If that were the case, Tony would just make a 1" spacer.
