I actually bought the extended warranty... the dealership did not say that it would.

^I've heard before that modifications to the plenum could void the warranty. But if the dealer said no then good.

The warranty will only be void if it is or could be the cause of whatever went wrong. Example. If you put after market wheels on, yes that's considered a mod, and your stereo goes out, your warranty will not be voided.
