Car stopped on highway for no reason, help please!

Hi guys, i did search almost all options ,went through 10 pages of result, non of them seems to match my problem, if there was any other thread i could have missed, sorry !!

i was on highway today, everything seemed like fine, i was doing around 110kms/hr 5th gear(5at) my charger was charging both of ipod and my gps and was listening to the cassette player which i plug intomy ipod,

then i decided to turn on the fans(non-a/c mode) the moment i turned it on the car all of a sudden had this kick (kind of like a stall) and stopped in the middle of a busy highway!!!! i tried to push on the gas no response at all, the dash lights went off(no engine light or any warning, almost like turning off the car), luckily the steering wheel did not lock itself and the brakes worked and i stopped, i re-started the car, the car acted like everything was all normal, however when i did stop for a break i realized my parking lights are pale , but my xenon lights are fine.(i recently changed my battery, a good brand)

rest of the day i had to drive back to toronto and did around 200kms , no problem at all, i was so scared cause i had 2 other people and my baby nephew with me, it was a pretty dangereous, situation, now i really need you guys' help on this, cause i really wanna fix this problem or im not gonna let anyone sit in my car beside myself.

sorry for the long post, i tried to give you guys all the details of the incident.
thank you

p.s: my car is 2003 g35 coupe 5at, 93,000 kms

im not that knowledgeable in technical aspect of it, can you elaborate on "bad throttle body", i have no extended warranty, probably have to bend over little bit but really wanna solve the issue!

my car is all stock the only thing i have non-stock is my sprintbooster but i highly doubt they would be the reason for this.

if it was throttle how can i car immediately stop when it is doing 110km and stable 2500rpm, isnt it first stall and eventually stop, rather than a switch off!

thank you again.

Either way, the best thing to do is remove all mods when seeking warranty work. You dont want them to even have the thought of something aftermarket causing the problem. Bring it in stock then reinstall afterwards.

oh man your out of warranty :/ if i remember correctly a new throttle body was $200-$350 and installation was $100-200. but again i was under warranty. just have your dealership run a test to see whats exactly wrong.

and the throttle body is right where the stock intake is on the upper part where it connects to the upper plenum.

thanks for the input and explanation, i have been out of warranty from the day i bought my g. well looking at those numbers, thats not that bad compared to paying 500 bucks for goddamn windows motor

i have my own mechanic here , he is pretty good with infinitis. hopefully they ll diagnose it right! it was just odd,the way the car shut itself!

for the first time i did lose my trust on my g( have been good to me for the last 2.5 yrs)

New throttle body is less than $200 from Riverside Infiniti amd takes about 45 minutes to replace. On a difficulty scale of 1-10 this DIY is a 1. Do it yourself to save the cheese!!

didnt know its that easy, hopefully its the throttle body! i still suspect the fuse went wrong because of using all these chargers, radio, and the air condition. but a blown fuse can stop the car completely in the middle of the road?
