ppl w/ Work vs-xx 20's help...

hey guys, i have an 06 dg coupe and am looking to get some 20'' work vsxx's in either burning silver or gunmetal. anyway i plan on lowering the car with the eibach prokit and an spc camber kit for the neg camber. im looking for at least a 9'' front and 10-10.5 rear. i dont mind rolling the fenders if i have to. i like wheels with a 2-3'' lip in front and 3-4" or so lip in the rear. problem im having is figuring out what offsets i need to get. i know very little about offsets and what they determine for a wheel and when i look at those wheel calculators where you try out different offsets, i might as well be trying to read chinese. thanks for the help.

oh and if you have pics of you car with said wheels installed, please post em along with the specs.

try and get 9.5 front 10.5 rear with like 15 offset front 20 rear. my wheels are just about flush and theyre not as wide only 8.5 front and 10 rear and i like it
mine will look a lot better when i get it lowered. just not sure what to setup to run, but either way theres some referrence pics 9.5 and 10.5 would stick out perfectly!!

or try... 20X9.5 +4 (Rdisk for BBK) and 20X11 +12 (Adisk For BBK) and you should be happy and just need to roll your fenders..

you wanna get jiggy with it then run 20X9.5 +0 (Odisk NON BBK) 20X11.5 +13 (Odisk NON BBK) and you can never run a BBK unless you run spacers.. and you need to roll your fenders..

Where's FAB (Silencer) when you need him?

He always appears when you never want him to, but when something pertains to him, he's nowhere to be found. Fkn worthless!

LOL, I was too busy at work to get on driver much yesterday . That, and I was playing SC2 .

ANYWAYS, I have 9.5 +4 R-disk / 10.5 +6 A-disk. All fenders are rolled. Front barely clears my bbk, rear clears just fine. Front rubs a little in hard turns, rear doesn't rub. 3.5/4.5" lips.

I'll try to find a better pic of the fitment later.

nice ride...that is the look im going for...would changing the front offset change the fact that it rubs a little in hard turns? also can someone explain the differences in the different disk types? thanks

Its the size of your tires that cause the rubbing on the inside during turns. It is also a result of how much you drop your car. I rub on the inside when I do turns as well, but I just deal with it and move on.

The disc faces for WORK wheels are as follows:

R-Disc: BBK Fitment
A-Disc: Standard Lip Fitment
O-Disc: Max Lip Fitment

If you want a run a BBK, then you'll have to get R-Disc in the front and nothing else. A and O disc faces WILL NOT clear a BBK unless you run a spacer, 15mm and 25mm/30mm respectively.

For the rear, as far as I know with my WORK T1S, I can run an O-Disc in the rear and still clear a BBK. But from what I've heard, the T1S are more BBK friendly then the VS-XX.

Edit: I would suggest that you get BBK friendly wheels, because you never know if you're going to want a BBK later in the future. I said that and now I plan on getting a BBK, so I'm forced to run a 15mm spacer in the front to clear. But it is a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
