What is this for ??

Trying to identify what's this hose purpose, thinking about deleting it but want to know what I'll be missing first. I have the downloaded service manual but can't find it there.

Any help will be appreciated.

you can remove the metal bracket on the AC line next to the intake though, it gives it a cleaner look
