I'm looking to uprage my headlights on my 05 and purchase some projectors tonight. The dealership told me they would be $856 a piece!
So, where is the best place to order these at a reasonable price? Thanks.

You could try searching the Market Place....

 

I don't believe they sell '06+ Projectors on our MARKETPLACE. You could check with Rick @ Riverside Infiniti 800-919-8130 or check eBay, that's where I bought mine "New n Box" for less than $400. Be cautious, the seller should have a close to 100% sales rating. I rarely suggest eBay but with the saving involved it difficult to pass up....

i got mine from Beshoff Infinti (San Jose,CA) for $545 pickup for both. cool guys there too.

 

I got mine from Riverside and they were about $580 for the pair shipped. The price difference I believe is because the dealer who wants $856 each must be including new ballasts. With Riverside's you use the ballasts from your current lights. No big deal to swap the ballasts to the projectors.

 

Tony at Circle Infiniti (also a vendor here) just helped me order a pair for $499.95 plus shipping. He has been great with my questions as well.

I'd also have no problem ordering from Riverside, both have great reps as far as I'm concerned.

edit: Also, as a note, I'd be a bit concerned ordering eBay ones. Just because they may try to sell you pre-recall headlights (or used ones).

yea, i don't really understand this ^. In the rules, it says you're not allowed to sell the 06 projectors because of defective ones or something...yet they're posted all the time. What's the deal with that? I've been looking to possibly upgrade to the +06 headlights for my 05 but I don't want to end up with some messed up headlights!?

lol the difference between reflectors and projectors is night and day bro. The glare on reflectors HIDs annoys the hell out of me. The projectors also provide significantly better, farther, beams. below is a quick google image search I did for ref. vs pro.
