congratulations! you are famous amongst motorcyclists everywhere!

apparently, this particular G35 driver thought it'd be a great idea to try to steal some guy's bike at deal's gap. Deal's Gap, despite having a metric **** ton of motorcycles come and go, probably has had bike thefts in the single digits for the past few decades. The last time a couple bikes got stolen, it was a pretty big deal.

the guy was caught in the act of stealing the bike (having the ***** to take his sweet time putting the bike owner's gear on) and was arrested and hauled off in the police car... and then released later with no charges filed. this was due to the fact that he hadn't actually started and moved the bike from the parked spot... even though he CONFESSED to it to the police on the scene.

anyway, just thought I'd share. My 05 coupe is getting on in it's age and with almost a 100K fun miles. i still love it... i just love bikes more. damn you track days!

thought you guys might find this amusing.



EDIT: also, the guy attends U of Tenn, but his plates are from Illinois. based on what some others are saying, he has a fraternity tag, though not sure which.

 

Disgusting. As a motorcyclist myself I have no respect for thieves.

Damn d1ckhead, makes me sick to see people so stupid. Darwin needs to have more influence these days, too many azzholes running around everywhere.

 

I'm not sure where the frat tag is ( you'd have to zoom in really close with high resolution on the rearview mirror tag ), but if he's talking about the front plate, that's not it. He probably is though after looking at him, and he looks familiar too for some reason.
