The 1/2" is slightly better but if you want to keep your engine cover, go with the 5/16" Motordyne spacer....

Don't care about the cover, I want the best performance possible! I guess with more clearance the more airflow?! What kind of gains and where will you gain???

I got a good deal on a 1/2" spacer and bought it. At 4k RPM, it feels like a turbo kicks in, lol

From readings, i've read that 5/16 has more power on low rpm, and 1/2 has power on the higher rpm.
I found that more people go with 5/16, because the power is more useable.

I'm still new to these cars, but what from what I understand the spacer does not add too much power to the rev up motors without the MREV2.
