repainted bumper
repainted bumper
Hi guys,
I got a 04 coupe this summer in pretty good condition but it's appearent that back and front bumper paint doesn't match the rest of the car. I can see that front bumper paint is peeling in some places and paint underneeth does match the rest of the car. I was wondering if anyone ever saw when new paint is put on old paint without sanding and priming. Is that even common? I am assuming that the cost to sand and prime is marginal when you are repaining bumper.
Thanks

That's the difference between repainting done right and the cheap azz wrong way. Unless the bumpers are sanded down and primered using the right agents the paint will never stay on or look good for any length of time.
