powdercoated black stock 17's

whats up guys, i live in Mass. unforutanaly so winter is coming -__- i have black chrome Work t1s 20''s on the coupe right now but pretty soon since its time to get them off for the season so i was thinkin of powdercoating my stock 17's black. if anyone has any pic's of how they would look i would love to see it so i can decide to get it done or nott

I think you should paint it. I remember a thread about PC decreasing the strength of cast wheels.

If you paint it will chip bad. And road salt will probably eat right through it. Some say pc'ing cast is bad, some say it's ok, but don't paint unless you want to keep painting. My Ray's are pc'ed, and they have lasted well over a year now no problem.

yeah i wnat to powdercoat not really paint em and there just for winter beaters

Well with the loot you spent on your Work's you could of had a nice beater....

id loveeee to buy a winter beater but unfort. with buyin the work's and he bc coils i have on reserve dont really have the extra cash for a winter beater =(
