All the extra crap glued to that DG just screams fugs. The term "rice" may even be appropriate... but I digress.

I feel like the 03-05 lights might look better though. Anyone feel like hunting down a pic?

 

I've seen some painted tails I really liked, and yes they'd look good with the Strafe trunk as long as the color matched perfectly. That's not Rice, it more about individual taste....ya like it or not! I love my JDM tails just the way they are, clean & shiny....

^ like gary said theres clean ways to smoke out your tail lights and make them look good. Painting them out didn't look too bad in my honest opinion. It's still nice.

 

I used VHT night shades spray on tint for my tailights. Its lumiscent to help prevent cops ticketing you.

 

i think i like it too, that car pulls it off. Gives it a GTR-y kinda look

I wanna comment, but I can't see the pic cause I'm on a GOV computer. I have an OB with color matched tails, which I think looks good with my PC'ed Ray's. But opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one.

 

I don't think an overlay of that would ever look good. I think if you actually want to do that you should just paint them, but I wouldn't do either of those options.
