Sorry to hear this.

I hope you didn't have tints for security purposes, I can hardly tell you have any tint on the other window. I had a Kenwood DNX Excelon 8120 in my old car, never got stolen but if you ever decided to go DD with a deck like that, I really suggest a much much darker tint, to lower the chance of them seeing it in the first place...and some one-way screws to slow them down.

Sorry for the loss, I am just curious...
Did your stock alarm sound after they broke the window?
I am asking because the dealership guy said Nissan has an alarm when the windows are smashed while car is locked.

no the stock alarm did not go off at all.

I had to go aftermarket and put in a crutchfield 5.x in with motion sensor and window sensor

One of the first mod, most important and the least you could do to increase what little security we have nowadays: VIPER 5901 with every freaking extra sensors i could possibly add on the unit. And they were wired so i can turn those extra ones off except shock sensor. Because they do get really annoyingly too sensitive! But Sorry to hear man, i've my car broken in once before because it was out of my sight for less than 2 hours and no 2way pager alarm. OR DOMO

Years ago I had my 90 Camaro broken into... they jacked up my console getting my stereo out, and made off with a gameboy, portable TV and all my change I keep in the ash tray.... though they weren't smart enough to take the engagement ring I had in the console which was worth more than everything they took combined! Fortunately, they popped the window out of the seal to get in, instead of breaking the glass.

After that happened I broke with the typical American practice... I no longer fill my garage with a bunch of junk and leave the expensive vehicle sitting outside! Garage your G35 and put junk in a shed or storage unit bro, it keeps it both safer and its value up a bit by keeping it out of the elements! A theif would have to bust down some doors to get to my G35... and if he does the only thing he'd make off with is 2 to the chest and 1 to the head!!!
