Depends on a lot of things,
Do you have comprehensive or just liability?
What's the amount of your deductible (the amount you pay before the ins co pays the rest)?
Did you claim any aftermarket stuff on your policy (pioneer HU) so it will be covered in case of theft.

Some of my friends have had their systems covered by their ins even though it was not included in the policy.
Just depends on the ins co I suppose.

I hate thieves! They deserve to get the **** beat outta them.

i have state farm insurance... and i asked them about any polocies on coverage for my aftermarkets parts... and they told me .... ill have to wait for any thing to happen before they file a claim for my aftermarket parts.. i found this a bit uncomfortable becuz thats not a 100% garuntee that my parts will be covered..

I had a break in experince. They ripped my head unit, amps, subs right out of my car. My insurance company reimburssed everything that I was able to provide a reciept for. I was only hit with my $500 deductible so I lost out on that. As far as my premium going up, it never did. I ended up installing an aftermarket alarm after the incident and submitted it to the insurance company. This was all out in NJ so it may vary from state to state.

Overall this was done by someone who knew how to unistall the aftermarket radio from a g35 without tearing up the center console. Keep an eye out on the forums and craigslist for it. Its a shame things like this happen.
