Interesting, it reads rpms through the cigarette lighter. I guess that info coupled with the data from the accelerometer and the weight of the vehicle allows them to extrapolate HP and torque data. I want to get one just to see how accurate it turns out to be.

I haven't figured out how it knows how long a 1/4 mile is though.

You are gonna start losing people's interest unless they see #'s. I am interested, but want to see the price breaks. I see retail at 199 for the SS and 299 for RR. I am guessing that the ABSOLUTE BEST they will offer is around 33% off. That would put it at $134 & $201, respectively. I figure the best we can probably look at is around $165 ss / $249 rr with the numbers we are posting right now. If you ask him nicely, he may even score you one free if you get enough of us buying!

If pepople start freakng, then you'll know they weren't really serious and you'll know what bargaining power you really have.

The only reason I haven't signed up is because I bought their GTech Comp Pro about a year ago. It appears to be essentually the same unit as the new SS model. My GTech works as advertised. I've been able to use it to verify my car's mods as I installed them. It was also used, along with the Techtom, to gather information for some of the underhood heat soak tests.

Why are you guys so concerned w/ the price before ordering? A quick online search shows that they're not discounted from MSRP, so it'll be cheaper than you can find anywhere else.
