Thinking of selling the G
I don't think a G35 could be described as high end, luxury, or as a sports car...
If you really want a decent step-up from the G, I would consider something like Porsche 911, MB CLK63/65 Black Series, Lotus, Nissan GTR (don't take traction control off LOL), older Lambos/Ferraris. Again, it really depends on your budget and if it's going to be a toy or a daily driver.
Best post I've seen on this website to date haha.
I had a similar experience. I sold my 04 G coupe after getting fed up with the repair and maintenance costs, but I missed the car too much and ended up buying a 06 G coupe last year. Make sure you really want to get rid of the G, you may regret it!
tranny 5000 what, got a manual for 800 bucks had 9000 miles on it came off a z, installed 500 bucks.
Nothing on this car should cost that much to fix I did my engine for 2500 out the door. (engine plus labor, got an 05 now too in my 03)

Where did you find these parts? The tranny was like 4 grand.
Now thats what Im talking about specially the 335i with intake, exhaust and a JB3 you'll be in the 400hp neighborhood
whens the new 335i commin out with the single turbo? that will drop the price a lot.
Is actually already out is called 335is and yeah I've seen 07-08 335i with low mileage going from $25k-$30k here in FL. With 2 or 3 grand you will be in the middle 12s on the 1/4 mile. Thats probably my next car.
ever car has a story when i had a Porsche cayenne it started consuming the oil and lets not talk about the brakes wearing out around every 10000 miles.. and those brake pads are expensive as fudge.
