All I know is that automatics (stock) should be pushing around 6 flat give or take a few. I really doubt with just an exhaust setup that you'll be running below 5.5

I bet you change your tune if you're talking about the SRT.

^^I raced a lightly modded srt-4 in the 1/8 mile and the acceleration was about the same.

definitely is worth it i mean to me its not as noticeable as they say but i did notice less lag from it and seems to clean things up a bit and it adds to engine bay a bit but its up to you it wont make you faster though lol

From Motortrend
G35 -- 5.8 seconds
SRT4 -- 5.4 seconds
G37 -- 5.0 seconds

Stock, they are pretty similar.

For stock ATs I would think 5.8 would be the lowest. These are some heavy cars to get up to speed. They do very well with the amount of power they have compared to weight.

they do exactly how they are supposed to for the amount of power compared to the weight(as does everything in the world that can move).........................................

and 5.8 was the time for the 6mt coupe...actually 5.83 for the 03 6mt coupe and 5.78 for the 03.5 6mt sedan according to MT

I rounded. ~.03 and .02 don't really matter

well the OP was concerned about .25 on his stopwatch so I was just saying exactly what they were....u would never get exactly the same time twice if you tried to do it though...really 0-60 doesn't matter at all because its basically meaningless...there are cars with worse 0-60s that end up being faster in the 1/4 mile due to powerband or gearing. .05 does matter in racing though if you were to lose a race my .05 seconds that would be about 1/4 to 1/2 a car length and if you don't think that matters then why discuss 0-60 or 1/4 mile times at all?

My point was people can't tell or feel the difference of .02 or .03 seconds. It's not noticeable.
