Ha Ha Ha, Learn how to drive. Burning Clutch

Okay, so before we start with the learn how to drive criticism. I been driving sticks for years and never really had this problem.

Okay, so every once in a while when i get on it, and i mean hard, like doing a little drift or donut between first and second gear, the clutch doesnt seem to want to release because when i give it the gas it just goes nowhere fast and the clutch just starts smelling. I know im burning it, what i dont know is why? Im not riding it at all, I just take a nice turn and try to rip into second gear so i can drift a little and instead i get burnt clutch and no acceleration. This doesnt happen every time but I really dont think im doing something wrong because its not the first time ive done it.

Just wondering if my clutch is goin bad, or the throwout bearing or whatever else is involved down there. Maybe my slave or master cylinders? What do you guys think?

I would get your clutch checked since it's a distinct smell. But honestly I would just stop playing around with the car if it's acting/smelling funny.

Does the G have a clutch delay valve??? Most medium to high power manual tranny vehicles do. It could be whats killing your fun

Where would i find the clutch delay valve if it has one. I would assume someone on these forums would know if our cars have them.

is your pedal returning all the way up before you start mashing on it?

This happened to me after I tried peeling out at around 4,500 rpm. I just don't do that anymore and the car drives fine. It's been about 30k miles since and still drives fine. I can drive it hard but i don't try anymore crazy burn outs.

Uhhmmmm...
Turn your VDC off?
Could be why you are getting no acceleration. As per the clutch question, I have no clue.

ure clutch is slipping and therefore causing the rpm to go up and the car going no where. The burnt smell should have been the first sign of slipping but I guess u didnt care since doing donuts were more important.
