Night Pictures!
Took some pictures last night, playing around with my camera.

Well if anyone has any camera tips feel free to share them, I had my camera for some time but never took the time to read up on it.
Thanks!

nice shots! i love that whole lighted parking lot.. or whatever it is
beware, artificial lighting also tends to bring out blotches on the car (wax streaks, fingerprints etc.)

Thanks everyone I'm trying to get better I have nerver been able to take pictures at night but these came out pretty good. For those of you that can give any pointers please do so I would like to get better at this.
ozracer01 I used a Canon Rebel X and the settings where on AV and the actual # settings where around the 30's. I'm still learning might have to take a photo class.

Re: Night Pictures!
When you focus, make sure the autofocus is focused on the car. It seems that in several of the pictures it is not focused on the car. If you're using Av, you have plenty of options. I'm assuming you must be using a tripod for the night shots, so play around with different Fstops. FIrst, make sure you're focused on the car. Then try some low Fstops-these should yield some background blur. Smaller Fstops will yield all in focus pictures, but beware of the longer exposure times with very small Fstops. Just don't shake the camera, even on the tripod. If you want to prevent any shaking from pressing the shutter release, then use the delayed exposure setting on your camera. It should be able to delay 3 seconds after you hit the shutter release, plenty of time to get your hand off the camera. Nice work, pretty good composition and background.

DragonGcoupe thank you very much for the feed back! I will try what you said and I'm going to have to try different settings to get used to what works best. On some photos like #1 notice at the top those red spots is that because the shutter was open to much? I will keep trying different things till I get the hang of it but thank you for any tips you can share.
