That is where i am having the most trouble in making my decision... I LOVE the way the car sounds i just want it a little louder, and really i dont think the YouTube vids do it justice - They all sound relatively the same... from what im reading, if you want to keep the stock sound/tone and just add some volume then Nismo and Fast Intentions are the best options...

Can anyone on here second that? I havent heard ANY of them in person, so im a little gun shy to make the purchase and regret it later....

THANKS!

Its your exhaust really loud even with the windows up ? I just installed mine (hks clone with megan resonated testpipes and magnaflow xpipe) and dam its so loud inside the cabin even with the windows up its kinda annoying . Its yours like that and also does the sound gets quieter once it breaks in like after a week or something?

haha no it doesnt. you'll have that constant droning -_- so i switched back to stock with the test pipes and it sounds good, but not as loud. there is a part of me that regrets it but on the other hand i dont . lol complicated relationship

Can anyone tell me what they think about Stillen's dual exhaust system. I have a 06 coupe A/T Injen CAI is the only mod looking for a second mod. Looking for a more aggressive sound. Any ideas? I heard Stillen has some of the best performance gains out of the systems available. Thanks again!

^i have a stillen catback and you will notice a difference in sound compared to your stock mostly around 3500, 4000 rpm gets very aggressive mine is coupled with Stillen headers too... if you like a little bit of deep tone its recommended as its not over the top compared to some other cutbacks available and good idling sound.

WRONG! I don't know about NISMO but Fast Intention sounds NOTHING like stock! And MUCH louder than the stock although not as loud as HKS. I had FI carbon fiber catback and FI HFC, I LOVED the unique deep tone from the carbon fiber. But for you my friend, non of the video clip do the justice. It only gives you a rough idea. You got to go out and hear it for yourself.

If you just want to add some volume and keep your stock exhaust note, your best bet is HFC. I don't know where you get this FI tone is close to the stock but I think HKS is even closer to the stock tone then FI. Again, you have to litsen it in person. Maybe go for a local car meet or something.

BTW, I still think the g35 stock tone is one of the best! It sounds better than the new gen g37/370z and even better than my NISMO 370Z!

Glad to see more people use the x-pipe with the X02. The x-pipe makes it sound so much better.
