ok, well i finally did it.. couple days of dealership searching around my area and the dealer closest to me gave me the no hassle real price..

now you guys wont believe this, but just read please.. its a dealer horror story.. and i wrote a letter to Infinity Consumer Affiars..

the first dealership i go to just to fish for some #'s decides to make a copy of my drivers license .. typical thing when you want to test drive their car.. after some negotations , we couldnt settle on a price..

dealer was asking 5500 down , 39-42 month lease, 15k milage, for 500+ a month for a black on black 6 MT with nav..

the dealer would not budge past 480 month after 1 hour of talk.. so i walked out and left.. i was happy to leave but i forgot my license !!!.. the next day i go back to the same dealer knowing thats an old trick in the book, asking for my license, the dealer states they lost it.. sorry.. i was furious, the dealer went into their DMV access and pulled out a copy of my license which is good till i get the real card agian from the DMV.. so this means, time out of my business day and money..remember guys, this is my first Infinity dealer.. talk about a sour taste in my mouth!!! .. anyhow.. infinity will be calling me back regarding this..

now to my new car !!!

after search around for prices. my local dealer was hassle free.. i went directly to the sales manager, from Santa Monica Infinity .. Darren was his name.. he wanted my business and gave me honest quotes..

i quotes darren what other dealerships wanted to give me..and he beat all of them.. i told darren i would be in touch, and 2 hours later i was signing the papers.. the whole team at santa monica infinity treated me well, unlike the game playing other dealers.

now i dont know if i got a killer price.. but fromwhat all others dealers in my area were giving me it was thebest..

onething i want to mention, all of the dealers mentioned how i did not have credit establised for more than 5 years .. i was just shy of 5 years by a few months and the banks they go through need to meet these requirments.. agian. my credit score was 720+ ..

all others dealer wanted to mark it up b/c of that.. .santa monica didnt really care, they trusted my record and it speaks for itself.

so , with that said..

2003 VW GTI 1.8T... got about 4300 back..

put 2500 down, black on black, 6mt prem, no nav, for 34k ..believe MSRP was 35,810 .. so that about 1800 off sticker.. 15k milage, 36 month lease for 445/month ..

will post up some pics soon. its freaking raining in LA right now.. sucks..
