Disabling the horn

I have a problem with my alarm going off whenever I use the key to unlock a door (my key fob is out of action). I called the local infiniti service department and the tech recommended simply unplugging the horn, referring to a wire found near the radiator. He couldn't tell me exactly where this wire was, so I was wondering if someone here can give me a detailed idea of where to find it. Thanks all!

I would look for the horn first, then simply trace the wire.

In what general area would I find the horn?

Normally it would be in front of the radiator. Just look behind the bumper, I'm sure its there somewhere.... I would post a pic but my car is 10K miles from here.

Disabling the horn is a bad idea, typical Infiniti stealership logic! Someone pulls in front of you, what are you going to do...."Yell at them?" Drive to your local Nissan dealership and have them fix your remote....screw infiniti they'll rape you on the cost anyway....we've all been there!

Maybe your trunk monkey has gone bad and needs to be replaced.... if that's the case, everytime you try to lock your car, it might think someone is trying to steal it and set the alarm off.
