So im sitting at a red light the other day and my rpm's drop way low. I thought for a second the car was gonna stall but it didnt. when the rpms went back up after a second or two the service engine soon light came on along with the slip light and vdc off light. the light turns green and as I give the gas the car dosent want to go...it kinda felt like I was driving a stick shift and I still had the cluch engaged a little. my car is an automatic by the way but thats the best explination I can give. Anyway, when I got up to around 2000-3000 rpm everything was fine (all the lights still on) I pulled over asap and shut her down looked under the hood for anything weird. nothing seemed to be out of place. When I started up again the only light that was still on was the service engine light. I pulled out and the car was still doing the same thing. I went to auto zone to have to code pulled and see what was going on. The guy said it was the unit that sends a signal from my gas pedel to the throttle body?? He cleared the code and eveything is working fine now. Has anyone heard of this before? Cand someone give me some more information on this? and is this something I should be concerned about? I have done some mods to my G but I have put on about 20,000 miles since then so I dont think the mods are related to the problem.
Any advice or info would be great.
Thanks Guys...

AutoZone didn't happen to give you the code number did they? The accelerator pedal controls a pair of potentiometers (variable resistor) that sends a voltage to the ECU (computer), the ECU sends a signal to the throttle body. No cables or linkage like the old days. Hence the term "fly by wire". It could be a number of things, accelerator sensors, wiring connectors, bad ground, the ECU itself. None of which would be related to your mods. If it continues to happen, find someone competent in electrical troubleshooting and check these things out and see if you can pinpoint the fault.
