Supercharge or TT?

I did a search for this topic before making the thread so if it's already been asked I can't find it.

Basically I'm wanting to know whether Supercharging or going TT is better. 6spd BTW

Here are my criteria for choosing.

-Powergoal (330-400whp)
-Reliability (Will be DD and sometimes on trips)
-Ease of maintenance
-Ease of instillation and fitment
-No Transmission upgrades besides Clutch and PP
-As few as possible secondary upgrades
-Cost really isn't an issue

Thanks ahead of time

Thanks quality information

Yeah I did an advanced search and typed in "Supercharged Turbo" gave me no results which I found odd and figured I would get blasted for the thread, but at least I have some quality reading ahead of me now.

See you around

Judging by your criteria, I think a Vortech would suit your needs best.

Yeah I've been reading and looking and really think that is what I'm going with. I have a lot of experience with Turbo's (have a 460whp 00 Civic Si), but this will be my first Supercharger. Pretty much the same concept though, but I'm really looking forward to hearing a whine instead of a spool just to hear something different.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you ever plan on turning up the boost and building the motor? If you do I'd go with a TT, probably a JWT 700b instead of the 530bb if I were to do it again. Maybe even the 850s..

I may one day down the road, but I just want it to be a reliable, hassle free, quick DD for now. I'm really thinking about shooting for 650whp on my Civic. I hate that it's FWD, but I love seeing the looks one peoples faces when the rice burner moves like it does.

I have had JWT TT for over 3 years on stock block and haven't had much reliability issues, a couple things here and there, but the car has been great for the last 3 years. I personally would not go SC because it doesn't leave you much room to grow. Even if you don't plan on building the motor for a couple of years, I would still go TT. It will save you a whole lot of money in the long run. If you wait you'll have to spend $7,000+ again just on the turbo kit. You would be fine with a 530bb JWT kit, as long as it is tuned for around 350whp you should be able to run strong for a very long time.
