The MG trunk really sets off the car and completes the look IMHO. Your car is, no doubt, pure sex. You Houston guys (yeah I know your heart's in Ohio) have really stepped up the G game down there. You, Son, Nando, Gabe among others are doing a great job representing!!

Quick question for you. How much additional clearance did the Akebonos need over the stock calipers to fit behind your wheels? I'm looking at BBKs and can't get disk info on my wheels and the templates I've found online to measure are dead links.

Thanks Tim - those are very kind words!!!

I am not sure on how much additional clearance exactly, it is a little bit, but not a ton... I didn't have to run spacers or anything to clear on my 19" volks - +17/+18

We can always do a test fit next time i am in Austin or you're in Houston

Thanks for the offer, that's really cool of you. Let me know when you're up this way. I've got to go see my Mom in Feb. sometime and she lives off of TC Jester in NW Houston, south of Tomball. Maybe we can meet up then. I'd also like to pick your brain on your Vortech build, I'm thinking about FI later this summer possibly.

Ugly as hell, especially the vortech and BBK, so I think you should just give them to me

NEW PICS!!

I got some new things installed and after going without my car for a week i finally got her back yesterday! Then the battery promptly died and i had to replace it this morning, oh well 5 years on the OEM battery is quite impressive i hear... anyways, here are the pics!

DD - JVC NT3HDT - Navigation/DVD/Bluetooth - i love this head unit it has some pretty sweet features and it is detachable!!

Then i had my Chargespeed rear bumper installed from Dustin - fits great and looks sweet! I will be putting in the mesh on the rear very soon, it's a little tricky since it's now on the car...

I considered carbon fibering the side mirror bases, but decided to paint them instead:

Also painted the hood mesh black:

Had a few door dings pulled and the rear trunk was toched up as there was a crack due to UPS when it arrived - looks flawless now

But my absolute favorite mod is:
my newly straighted intercooler!!! It was crooked for way to long, glad to finally have that fixed!

Engine bay shot later this week once i get the last items finished up...

Now just researching clutches and flywheels and waiting on a package from Strafe - Dustin any update?

Then it will be time for another proper photoshoot -- Thanks for looking!

It's nice to have the contrast that the black offers, that is why i really wanted to CF them as it would be subtle change however mine were in pretty rough shape so this looks much better -- on other colors, painting them black is a great mod for contrast!!

Car looks great, Kevin. We gotz to do some picherz sometime. We'll have to ask Mike or something.

You also forgot to add that one of your really good friends drove all the way to the South side and then drove all the way back to the North side to get you your car at 4 PM, since you were grounded and couldn't ask Champ about your car since he doesn't work well under pressure.

Sweet lookin' ride.

I woulda done 20s myself unless you plan on putting that car on the track?

Well done on the mods. I've gotta sell my other car and wait for the tax return before I can start more mods.
