It's okay. That's Gary for you. All of his posts either have the
or
smiley in it, and probably a solid 60% just tell you to use search and probably took more time to write than it would have just to answer your question.
But anyway, yes unfortunately your fogs will have to be the same color as your high beams. That's just the nature of the beast.
I personally went 5000K HID for mine since I don't care at all for the yellow fog look. I live in SoCal so the loss of "fog performance" by going to a whiter light that's more reflective was not an issue for me.
If you regularly have to use your fogs as real fogs, then you might want to reconsider.
The only thing I can think of is a dual filament H4 bulb that has different color outputs for each filament, but I don't think any of those exist.
So my suggestion is just keep it the way it is or throw in 4300K HID's so they match stock.

I personally went with 8k. I sacrificed a little bit more light output (since the higher temperature the bulb is the less light is being output) But its ok. I love the color 8k's give off, which is mainly the reason why I went with those.
As far as brand wise, do not (I repeat, DO NOT) go with Xentec. Had to return them 3 times and they were all garbage. Long story short, returned them 3 times, ended up getting my money back and bought some better quality ones worth the same amount.

I've hardly ever made a thread because really, almost EVERYTHING has at least been discussed once. A thread like this has been discussed numerous times. Instead of biting back at people, maybe you actually should give the search button a shot.
Anyway. 6000k if you want to see at night the best you can while still having that exotic look, 8000k if you want to look good. Personally I have 8000k and I can see 'okay'. I've also had 6000k on my car and you can definitely see a noticeable difference in performance.
