I think my analog dashboard clock is hard to read at night. The light is very dim compared to the other dash lights.

Is this normal? Are there supposed to be 1 or 2 lights illuminating that clock? I think mine has just one, on the right side of it.

yes mine was...

go to the dealer and get a new one, they updated the clock arms to be more angled so they reflect more light... i got it a couple months ago and it looks alot better! got mine at Infiniti Tustin... if they don't know about this update, have them call Tustin Infiniti 714-832-6111

This will be the first time I take my car into the dealer for service. I am going to put a note in the car to NOT wash it, but I just have a bad feeling that they will.

There is mention in the list of TSB's HERE. -- ITB02079.
It refers to the Sedan, but I'm sure there must be help for the Coupe too.
In any case the dealer should be aware of the problem.

Hmm, it looks like I already have the replacement clock (w/ the fatter clock hands). I looked at the picture here.

It seems like the light is too dim. Maybe there are supposed to be 2 and 1 of them burned out.

i have an 04, and i noticed that if i set the dimmer **** to right below the top notch (where if you keep rolling it after that it gets progressively dimmer) the clock is as bright as everything else in the cabin. its like the clock doesnt get extra bright with everything else at the full bright setting... hopefully this makes sense.

 

I don't know.... the damn Navigation screen blocks it 99% of the time. lol [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

Mine's fine.... just blends in well with the rest of the interior.

 

its not dreadful! its a stylish, classy infiniti trademark.

 

There is a ligth in the clock? Oh maybe thats because I never look at that dreadful thing
