i wait till the rpm drops to 800 before i start driving.
after a couple hundred feet, i like to punch it all the way to wherever i'm goin.

I see what you're saying but the "clunk" noise happens when I step on the clutch. It's a weird feeling because the car somewhat jerks a little when the "clunk" happens. Can it be that the oil for the gears aren't warm? I heard of something like that.
