ohhh man, uhhh, let me apologize for some of the 6mt guys. i still go there and have loyalty over there. not all of them are douchebags. they've been trying to set this up for a while and should have listened to reason when posting in the Socal section. hell I didn't even know this thread was here were it not for the New Posts button and noticed it was catching heat.

Can't control the actions and attitudes of some G owners, but I just wanted to vouch for 6mt, where I still post ***** at times, and say that not all of us are like this.

If you want to bring your NA coupe to the track for comparison I'm all for it... but TT to NA is apples to oranges (and has nothing to do with sedan/coupe).
He's in Afghanistan right now and his car is being built as we speak. He was always down for a comparisn, but the Sedan guys never wanted to show up in San Diego at our local track. It was only coupes and Z's.

As for coupe guys, the OP isn't even a regular here. He made 1 stupid comment and all hell broke loose with coupe comments. Even with the coupe hating in this thread, it never really phased the coupe guys AND a few coupe owners backing up the sedan owners.

I could care less about the debate, but the hating on each side is just rediculous. You can see my comments on this subject if you search.

I would love to get the G owners at one track event regardless of how many doors it has. With that said, Cali Speedway is open November 20th and December 4th for drag racing. 2 doors, 4 doors, big f-in deal. It's a G.

You aint' helping your case man, eaze off or you'll get this thread locked! It's not like 6mt, there's more government control.

If you want a good turnout and to post here in the future, let sleeping dogs lie.

class act post Thanks for your contribution - I agree, 6MT is typically not a bad site I guess new territory make some people a little uncomfortable and possibly OP felt the need to posture up?...

OP, let's lay off the implications with Dre - he's not going to back down and it's pointless to imply anything physical is going to happen... if you really want additional Gs for your run let's all start behaving civil and respectful.

I am very good friends with several copupe owners - its not a coupe bash with me... in fact, if you know most of us we're always jabbin each other (ehem Chris)... but when a coupe guy starts in with sedans cant compete, I'm always going to step up, so will Vlad, so will Bill (buttkiss) and several others that will outrun NA coupes... that's not a slam, its just that you have peo[ple that will set it straight.

As for SD track, you only have a 1/8 mile and its in a parking lot - so no, most of us that race wont go down there for that, we can go to Irwindale for 1/8 mile... but this thread is about road course (since the OP is setting up canyon run) so straight line really isnt even the topic...

As for Auto Club Speedway Street Legals, I've been so many times I dont go out of my way anymore (not even for perfect weather)... but if someone puts a meet together for drag day, I'll go if I have no other commitments.
