Got my first ding today!

Just noticed it on the passenger side...thing is, I'm really **** about parking miles away so that no other cars are nearby, maybe only 1-2 times TOTAL where I've parked next to people and even then, I leave a good distance between us. But this ding looks like it's in a weird place and doesn't really seem like a door ding so I almost wonder if some ***** just intentionally banged it. Stuff like this pisses me off....

DAMMIT!!!!! I hate that Mani....
I wish we had that kit like on that tv show "Viper" from 5 years ago....where the shiny red viper turned into this silver, bulletproof exoskeleton war machine

Re: Got my first ding today!

Y'all need to get the body side moldings - that will help a bit. I park far away from everyone too but there is always some b!cth in a SUV that has got to come around and fu!k things up!

Well, I don't like the way they look, and my dent is below that protection anyway.

Re: Got my first ding today!

I just took mine to one of the mobile dent repair shops here in Austin. They did a pretty good job - it's almost impossible to see now, but if you look close, you can still see some evidence of it. The good thing is, they didn't have to drill anything to get at it and it only cost me $65. Beats paying hundreds for a new body panel!

Re: Got my first ding today!

Ya think we could get away with a 6" strip of the 8mil bra material going down the side in lieu of side molding ?? I can't decide if I'm serious or not !! ...dean
