used parts?

is there alot of things that could be wrong with a used part? i found a guy selling an intake manifold, high flow cats, and dual exhaust for my car. but he had them on his car for 6 months. idk alot about cars. i know newer is always better but these parts are like 1/3 rd what they are new.

PM replied

only get the Kinetix high flow cats

the Kinetix manifold will lose power on N/A engines

That is the HKS replica or knockoff exhaust, id stay away from that too...

high flow cats if they aren't blown are ok depending on mileage. intake manifold depends on the type. dual exhaust depends on type.

looks like if you have been talking to beebo the exhaust is the x02, I run it along with many others and have great things to say about the exhaust. If you are getting a really good price for it and like the sound of the exhaust I would definitely go for it.

The exhaust looks like an XO2 or M2 performance. Both HKS knock offs. I believe the M2 is the newer version and is made of better materials and has 2.5" piping vs the HKS 2.25.

That's not a good price for the x02, I think people are getting it for that price or cheaper in socal recently.
