A few questions

Just got a few questions for you guys for some stuff I plan on doin to the G over the winter.

1) The front part of my passenger seat oh-****-handle fell off and I believe the screw is stripped. Is this an easy take out/replace with new one, or since it's stripped am I kind of screwed?

2) I am gonna paint my headliner over the winter, do I just use Duplicolor Vinyl stuff, should I get it professionally redone, or is there a better way? I hate suede and don't wanna do suede.

3) Can I get some BS touch up paint from any Nissan stealership? reason being is the closest Infiniti stealership is 2 hours away, but I have 2 Nissan stealerships within 20 minutes of me.

1-howd it strip out to begin with? try putting a new bolt in. its a m6x1.0 thread pitch.
2-no, no, no. take it out and wrap it with whatever color fleece you want using the 3m upholstery spray glue.
3-im sure you could order it online somewhere, or call the dealership and have the parts dept order it for you and have it shipped to your address.....and you can pay on the phone.

Cuz my gf always pulls on it cuz she used to be real scared that I drove 75-80, lol. I mean, the screw goes alls the way back in to the hole, sits flush, but falls right back out. I was hoping I'd need to wrap it so I can get rid of some of the card holders and stuff.

The nissan dealership should have the paint you will need. Just have the color code to match.

Theres other material you can wrap the roof in other then suede. I think brian aka ohellaoem just sprayed the inside of his bimmer with the duplicolor stuff. Theres pics in his i just bought an e30 thread.

I think your SOL if you stripped the whole thread. Theres nowhere to redrill. You might be able to rig something.

If I'm gonna rewrap my headliner, I'm gonna take that handle out. I did see Brian's thread, which is why I brought up spraying it instead of rewrapping it.

I don't care how it feels, just how it looks. The rest of the silver trim and the 2 rear beige plactic pieces will be wrapped in 3M CF Di-Noc

you can just get touch up paint on the internet. I have ordered once from www.touchuppaintonline.com to touch up some chips on my hood (have a obsidian black car) and it matched really well.

I'm gonna get some touch up paint, but seing as Silver is (or so I've heard) the hardest color to color match, I hope it doesn't seem like my car has freckles.

Used that site and got some KY0 touch up paint and clearcoat. I hope it comes out good when I get it!
