Where's my power?

I have a 2005 coupe 6mt and I live in colorado. I currently have a couple of basic modifications berk hfc, ground kit, mrev2, 5/16 iso spacer, stillen z-tube and popcharger. I just wanna know if exhaust is worth it? I love the stock tone with hfc. I truly don't feel like my car is fast at all. Where can I find more power without going FI? I was think of getting an uprev and get a tune but am unsure if it would really be worth it?

Your engine is producing 20% less power than it would if you lived in Florida. The only real cure for altitude sickness is to either move to a lower altitude or compensate with forced induction.

Only other mods you'll feel the difference with:

MD ART pipes
Tune
3.7 gears or shorter

Get a catback and do a ecu flash .. you can always do other things like headers, light weight pulleys (although dont know if there really worth the money; the pulleys) .

I hate attitude... I have really been think'n bout getting lightweight pulley's! Which tuner should I go with ie cobb, uprev, utec? I might be considering a vortech v3 in the future. Would I feel a difference if I had a lightweight flywheel? Exhaust seem stupid expensive for the hp! I'm only really interested in the HKS.

How much would gears run me installed? Would they affect my top speed or drivability?

Go with uprev if you have a licensed tuner around you. Im also getting a vortech v3 soon and will be retuning my Osiris for it. Look into MotorDyne exhausts too.

I loved the way my Borla True Duals sounded. They were very mellow yet throaty, and when you stepped into it... they sounded great...

You will get some power of of exhaust and a tune, but your not going to get a great deal of extra power until you got to some level of Forced Induction.

....^....the exhaust will give you more RWHP and MotorDynes or HKS systems will do what most won't....sound & hp! Headers and pulleys are a waste of $ what you really need is a tune after the exhaust system is installed. That should somewhat compensate for the altitude issues....

Drivability no, top speed...only a little. You should be able to find an OEM 3.7 pumpkin for less then $600 which you can install yourself. Or you can go the pricier route and get an aftermarket LSD which will be better then the OEM.

Lightweight Flywheel
Lightweight Wheels
3.7 or 4.08 gears

Those mods alone along with bolt-ons and a tune will make you car "feel" a lot peppier.

^^^ I need to do a dyno for my car... Currently have dc sport headers, aem intake , 1/2" motordyne plenum spacers, topspeed catback, manganaflow HFC 's and cobb tuning access port... I've seen a noticable gain... I have a 03 and have pulled good against an 06 coupe... I'm planning on doing the mrev2 and light weight pulleys soon
