Talking Red G35 coupe ADVICE PLEASE.

next propective car
Last night, for the first time I'd finally test drive my friend's 2003 Red Infiniti G35 coupe. For which he bought back in 2007 with 20k miles on it. The car now has 65k miles, bone stock, with 20% tint all around. Bose and sunroof. 17' alloy wheels. he told me the car was repainted twice for 25 hundred each time. The price he's asking is between 12k to 13k. He will not go below than 12k.

My backgrounds
I just turned 21 and currently driving a 2003 Honda accord V6 sedan. Been driving it since I got my license at the age of 17. I floor this accord when ever I get a change and is getting bore of it, since it's so civilized.

test driving experience
G35 on the other side is a totally different animal. There was 2 passengers in the car last night and when I floor it and we all average 180 pounds. But it still so much faster than my v6 accord when I floor it by myself. At least that's how I felt. maybe it's also due to the loud exhaust and lowering ride height comparing to my v6 accord. In a way I'm affraid to drive this car fast.

QUESTIONS
1, This is the first G35 coupe I've driven and I just can't wait to buy one. Should I test drive others too?
2, Anything I should check when I go back for a second test drive next week?
3, How is the price?
4, The Owner gets oil change every 7500 thousand miles. Isn't this bad for a such car which is most likely been driven hard all the time?

Edit:
Went to the mechanic today and was told everything is fine, and no body damage.

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST. ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED. CAN'T WAIT TO JOIN THE G35 COMMUNITY

He said it's because the paint look dull to him. The body looks flawless with couple key scartch here and there from his girlfriend, he said. We I'm go the take his car to my mechanic with him this sat to get a check up.

Get the CARFAX before you bother driving it again. The price seems reasonable, with that mileage. If the CARFAX is clear I'd still have a mechanic check it out just in case there are issues you're not aware of. It never hurts to visit a few dealerships and drive other G35s with simular mileage, although the price might be slightly higher....have fun/shop around.

I mean he didn't have to tell me anything about repainting the car, but maybe there'll be a explanation of it when I check up his VIN tonight.

understandable about the color being dull but "twice".. iono.. mechanic should be able to give you a better say about the vehicle..

if your considering dropping 12k on his car.. me personally would save a lil more shop around and get a younger year and lower miles.. dont just jump on the first car you see till you do your research..

the carfax doesnt always show every single thing that happened to the car... could of been in an accident and not reposrted.. have the mechanic look it over.. check the car properly.. look for overspray .. see if the fenders and all parts line up straight..

If the car is not wrecked... 12k seems like a pretty good price to me.
