Well after I read that the new G was in Roseville and Elk Grove I had to go. I don't like talking to the sales guy if I'm not ready to buy so I go around 10:30 or 11 at night. So I get to Roseville and I check out the other dealerships on the way to Infiniti. I see a 2004 M3 which really looked nice but it's marked at 63K so forget that. The 530 BMW's looked pretty nice too but that's also in the 50+ range so forget that too. Rolled past the Lexus dealer but they don't have anything new that I want to see until they give a new IS model.

So I finally get to Infiniti and I see that Athens Blue coupe that is in the first picture. As I'm getting out to get a closer look a friggin rent a cop comes and says the dealership is closed. So I ask that means I can't look at the cars because I have been coming up here after hours for the last year and a half. But the RAC says no. I'm wondering why since I was at the BMW dealership for 15 minutes looking and there aren't any signs or anything blocking any of the dealerships entryways.

Whatever so we drove to the Elk Grove automall and unbelieveably there are still people inside making a deal at around midnight. But I see a red coupe with the 19's. The interior looks nice; I think the only option it had was the sport suspension and it was priced at around 35.5k. Just around the corner there was a silver G with the splash guards, sport suspension and aero package. It was priced at around 37.6. So if you want the Nav also like I do I think they are going to go for about 40k.


My opinion on the wheels are they aren't bad in person. They look worse in pictures but they look better when you actually get to check them out. So I have no problems getting the sport option with those rims. I think people will be surprised............

 

I thought the car looked lifted with 18's... those 19's are
seriously begging to be lowered.



2004 G35C 6MT Brilliant Silver

 

Nice story...funny one too. I was planning to go to Roseville today, but the weather sux today so I figure tomorrow. I just check the stock for the 05 and notice that they really didn't have any nice colors. So I guess I will go back to Elk Grove tomorrow when it is sunny to check the cars out. Yeah, I really don't like salesman, especially when I have my deal set already at another dealership. I just really want to check out the interior or whatever. Sometimes this is only possible when you have a salesman with you. So eh. From the radius of 150 miles, seem like Sacramento got the best selection of 05's, with about 14 from both dealership here. Elk Grove has a better selection of colors. The closes 05 Coupe w/ NAV would be at Peninsula Infiniti in the bay area, a little too far for me just to check out the nav.

They are the stock 18" wheels dipped in black chrome.
