Looking to buy keyless entry/ Fob for my Infiniti !
I'm looking for an extra set as well. I just called midwest keyless and they have the fob and key for just under $50 total. Way under the $150 the stealership wants BEFORE programming. My question is, is there anyway to program these without going to the dealership? If not, would a Nissan Dealership be able to do it?
I just think its a bit outrageous to pay $300+ for a new key/fob straight from the dealership.

Here's how you program your fob
1. From the inside of your car, close all doors and lock using the driver side lock switch
2. Insert key into ignition and remove completely six times within 10 seconds. Your hazard lamps will flash if you have done this correctly. Don't rush, 10 seconds is plenty of time to do this.
3. Insert key into ignition and turn to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds of turning the key to the ACC position, press any button on your fob one time only, your hazard lamps will flash again.
5. If you are programming more than one fob including any old fobs, unlock, then lock your doors using the driver side lock switch. Within 5 seconds of locking your doors, press any button on your next fob. Again your hazards will flash. Repeat this step for every fob. If you are only programming one fob you can skip step 5 alltogether.
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove key from ignition, unlock doors using driver side lock switch and open driver side door. You're all done.

I bought a spare uncut master key for $40 awhile back as well as a key fob for 35. Both from ebay. Programmed the key fob myself... took the uncut key to a local locksmith and he cut it and programmed it for 45. Total investment 120. Eat it stealerships.

Not trying to hijack the thread but i have a question i had 2 keyfobs and they both were programed to my car and i programed one of them to my friend car cuz he didnt had one. His car was a Nissan BTW but now his keyfob opens his car and mines !!! and we work in the same job and if he parks close to me and uses his keyfob my aftermarket alarm goes off! and also he can open and close my car. Hes a trusted friend so im not worry but its annoying that my alarm keeps going off. Does anyone know how to fix this ? thanks in advance.
Your fob can hold up to 5 programs. Program his fob to his car several times until it no longer operates your car. You'll have to do it 4 times if his car was the 2nd car to be programmed onto your original fob. Hope this makes sense. Same thing happened to me. Went to breakfast one morning and the waiter said " hey is that your G out front, watch this. He pulls out his fob and unlocks my door. Turns out he bought his car from the same dealership days before I did. They didn't have a fob for his car so they took mine , programmed his car not knowing (or not giving a crap) that it now controls my car. Good thing he was honest.
